Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Pakistani Prime Minister Yousef Gilani have now met in Beijing.

Premier Wen Jiabao is now offering up his political support for Pakistan, which is struggling with its international image in the wake of Osama bin Laden being discovered in the country.
"I wish to stress here that no matter what changes might take place in the international landscape, China and Pakistan will remain forever good neighbors, good friends, good partners and good brothers."

Gilani is now in a four day trip to China to mark the 60th anniversary of ties between Pakistan and China.

"This indeed is a special year for us. That is why during your visit to Pakistan last year, we designated 2011 the year of friendship between Pakistan and China."

Gilani has also taken time thank the Chinese side for its support in the wake of Osama bin Laden's killing by U.S. forces.

Wen Jiabao says Pakistan has made great contributions to the global war against terrorism.

The two leaders have also overseen the signing of three agreements on economic and technical cooperation.

The Pakistani side says it wants to raise its trade volume with China to 15 billion US dollars next year.

Bilateral trade last year came in at nearly 9 billion US dollars.
