On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, CRI has initiated and organized a reporting trip along Pakistan's mother river, the Indus River, covering Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Gilgit and Hansa. Sponsored by the embassies of the two countries, the excursion includes 20 reporters from seven of China's major media outlets. Necessary additions were made to the broadcast stations set up in Ankara and Istanbul for purposes of communication. The international broadcaster’s services are targeted to people around the world who are interested in world.
