To convey the beauty of Xinjiang and the exciting moment at
the 2nd China-Eurasia Expo, Xinjiang International Expo Administration teamed
up with Xinjiang People's Broadcasting Station to hold the Beautiful Xinjiang
Microblog Contest, the first time in Xinjiang’s history.
Between August 3 and September 10, nationwide netizens may
upload beautiful Xinjiang sceneries they snapshot, touching Xinjiang people and
stories, and wonderful moments at the 2nd China-Eurasia Expo in pictures and
texts created by themselves to Xinjiang People's Broadcasting Station Official
Microblog@Live Xinjiang, and will have opportunities to win generous awards.
Sun Xingang, vice director of the Publicity Department of
CPC Xinjiang Committee, said that each Xinjiang people have the responsibility
to promote the beautiful Xinjiang, and a 100-word text or a picture may attract
tourists or enterprises to Xinjiang for sightseeing or investment. The cohesion
of each microblogger’s effort will showcase the strong power of Xinjiang to the
whole China and even the whole world.
The Contest has attracted wide concerns across China.

Xinjiang netizens are most active in showcasing their hometown. The microblog
“Night Urumqi Out of My Window” by Eliar-7 won great favor among netizen fans.
The Contest will have three First Award, five Second Award,
ten Third Award and 20 Honorable Award winners. On September 15, the winners
will receive notification from the Xinjiang People's Broadcasting Station
