Radio Ulster/Foyle remains Northern Ireland's most listened to radio station

BBC Radio Ulster / Foyle is still the number one listened to the radio in Northern Ireland with an average audience of 591,000 weekly listeners tuning in each week, according to the latest Rajar (Radio Joint Audio Research) figures for the second quarter two, 2011 .

These latest figures show a growth of RAJAR 59 000 listeners to the station over the years (and 532 000 listeners Quarter Two, 2010), an increase of 26 000 listeners fourth quarter (and 565 000 listeners Quarter One, 2011).

Radio Foyle, meanwhile, has a weekly audience average of 32,000 listeners. This figure is consistent from year to year (with 32 000 listeners in the quarter two, 2010) and shows an increase of listeners Quarter Quarter 1000 (with 31 000 listeners in the first quarter, 2011).
