BBC Radio Leeds Elland Road Banned

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates has banned the BBC from all access to the club, outside the existing contractual obligations.
The ban was discovered when Radio Leeds journalists denied entry to a press conference at Elland Road Stadium last week.
The series is apparently because Bates is upset by a television documentary for the BBC being undertaken on the property of the club. It is understood, journalists and producers will not be allowed to cover press conferences or talk to players or staff of the club on match days - unless the commercial offerings require them to be allowed. A meeting must take place between the BBC and the club tomorrow (Wednesday).
A BBC spokesman said its house magazine Ariel: "We were informed by Leeds United FC that there will be cooperation with the BBC out of existing contractual agreements. We want to reassure listeners that the BBC Radio Leeds Leeds continue to broadcast reports United match, there will be some commentary on Five Live, and objectives are displayed in the Football League from the BBC. "
The Guardian newspaper is currently prohibited in the club for its relations.
